DimpleCore®

Cuspated synthetic sheets for drainage, filtration, and waterproofing protection.

Product Description

DimpleCore® is a durable, heat-formed cuspated synthetic sheet used in drainage applications where controlled water flow and load distribution are required. Its symmetrical cusp structure resists lateral shear, while the flat reverse side reduces contact pressure, limiting the risk of point loading when installed against waterproofing systems.

DimpleDrain® builds on the same cuspated core by incorporating a bonded nonwoven bidim® geotextile on the cusp side. This geotextile acts as a filtration and separation layer, preventing soil ingress into the drainage voids while maintaining consistent drainage performance. Both systems are commonly used in applications where drainage is required in close proximity to waterproof linings and structural elements.

Product Highlights

Shear-Resistant Cusp Geometry

Symmetrical cusp structure provides resistance to lateral shear forces, maintaining drainage performance under load.

Low Contact Pressure Interface

Flat reverse face limits point loading, making the system suitable for use against waterproofing membranes and sensitive liners.

Integrated Filtration Option

DimpleDrain® includes a bonded bidim® geotextile layer that provides filtration and separation, reducing the risk of clogging.

Applications

Basement and Substructure Drainage

Used to manage groundwater and relieve hydrostatic pressure against below-ground walls and slabs.

Drainage Behind Retaining Structures

Installed behind retaining walls to provide a consistent drainage layer and reduce water pressure build-up.

Protection of Waterproofing Systems

Placed adjacent to waterproof membranes to facilitate drainage while limiting point loads and mechanical damage.
